2020-2021 has been one of the most challenging years for educators in recent memory, but it has also been an unprecedented year of member engagement and activism through our union. As FCFT and as AFT Virginia, we came together to push back against anti-union and anti-educator forces, ensure the safety of our staff and students, fight pay freezes, push for equity, and more. This is the moment that our union members have been preparing for.

As union leaders, we are proud of the advocacy of FCFT members who have come together through their union to push for a safe return to in-person learning, fair compensation, and respect and support for special education and support staff. Read about just a few of the amazing things our union has accomplished this year in our end of year newsletter. FCFT is the voice of all non-administrative FCPS employees. We're just getting started; join your member-led and solution-driven union today!
